Experiencing God is rarely how we think it will be. What actually happens is quite different.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

What! No! No! I don’t want that to happen. This will not work! All week my family and I struggled with an unexpected surprise that came in a totally different direction than expected and we were all saying NO! We were raising the RED FLAGS, but no one was listening. We turned to God in prayer and ask for guidance and intervention for this not to happen…..well God had other plans!

In 1 Peter 2:21 “To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps”.

It did happen! My husband and I turned to God and said “Now What” “What are we supposed to do now?” “We hear you and know that we don’t see what you are trying to show us, but we will listen “

Have you ever been in this kind of situation? What did you do?

We are still adjusting to the unexpected surprise that has involved not only my husband and I, but our three adult children as well. We will continue to go to God in prayer to show us the path to take.

Psalms 119: 105 “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path”.
