Thankgiving: what does it mean to you?

What do you think of when you think of the month “November”? Our thoughts go to Thanksgiving, which to us is natural because it is the month of the holiday “Thanksgiving”.

The act of giving thanks; grateful acknowledgement of benefits or favors, especially to God.

We give God thanks for bringing us through our hardships of job loss, family loss, losing our home in the past three years and helping us to endure, be patient, have peace and giving us guidance with His love and care.

We give God thanks and praise for guiding, supporting, giving us strength and healing where our Granddaughter is concern and for His continued support.

We give God thanks for the loving family, and friends in our lives.

We are so grateful for our new home God has led us to, for my husband having a job, our granddaughter doing well, and our children having jobs and doing well and for all our friends that God has blessed us with.

What are some ways you can show thankfulness to God, your family, your friends, co-workers in this month of “Thanksgiving”?

  • Write a Journal of all the things you are thankful for and read on Thanksgiving
  • Write a Journal of all the things you are thankful for with your family, friends or co-workers and give it to them as a gift
  • Write on small index cards what you are thankful for and decorate and place in a basket or cornucopia and place on a table for Thanksgiving.
  • Make something special and deliver it to someone who is sick or someone that’s in a nursing home.

Especially have a wonderful, blessed, safe Thanksgiving wherever you may be from our family to yours!!
